A simple wreath on your chain link fence during the Christmas Holidays will surely make a difference to your plain front yard surroundings. The steps below are easy to follow and will only take you a few minutes to finish. Tools and Materials Needed:
  • Christmas wreaths (both large and medium)
  • Multi-colored Christmas lights
  • Christmas decors and trinkets
  • Plastic tie downs
  • Artificial holiday plants like pine trees (optional)

Step 1: Installing the Lights Start with the multi-colored lights and put them a little below the fence top. Use tie downs to put them in place and they should be facing outside. Your goal is to bring the lights up and over the fence.

Step 2: Hanging the Wreath Hang the large wreath in front of the chain link fence. The wreath should face the sidewalk. You can use tie downs or a fishing line to hold them in place. The medium-sized wreath can be place in front of the gate.

Step 3: Hanging the Decors and Trinkets Hang the other items around the wreath in front of the chain link fence. The rule of thumb is to hang them 4 to 5 inches apart. Step 4: Lining up the Plants You can also line up your holiday plants along the chain link fence.
